LeadDog releases comprehensive Street Maps for Ecuador
ANCHORAGE, AK. October 12, 2006 - LeadDog Consulting, LLC today announced the release of detailed geographic databases of major roads for Ecuador and city streets for Quito, Guayaquil, & Cuenca to support military, government, asset-tracking, and commercial GIS applications. Designed to deliver accurate positional data, assist organizations track their assets, and provide accurate base level mapping. LeadDog's product provides numerous vector layers and attributes such as:
- Streets at 1:10,000 scale
- Street names
- Street classifications
- Extensive Points of Interest (airports, hospitals, government offices, etc)
- Water and Landmark polygons- Political division and borders
This allows our clients to immediately use data sets with a high level of confidence they will meet application requirements," says LeadDog's President, Jim Anderson. "We take the mystery out of the currentness and quality of international GIS data.

Guayaquil City Streets is available in all major GIS formats. A detailed Ecuador Major Roads and Highways product is available at a 1:250,000 scale.
